Amb. Dr Abdul Salam Al Madani is leading several international organisations focusing on healthcare. He is the Chairman of the International Congress for Health Specialties (ICHS) dedicated to advancing healthcare through continuing medical education, continuing professional development, research, and innovation.


Amb. Dr. Al Madani was a Special Advisor to International Hospital Federation - IHF for the Middle East and North Africa region for more than 15 years and actively promotes the ideals of modern healthcare and hospital management. He is also the Chairman of Anti- Smoking International Alliance- a London based registered Charity organization which is an initiative for anti-smoking campaigns and the promotion of good health and well-being.


Amb. Dr. Al Madani holds the position as the (Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean) PAM Roving Ambassador for the GCC Region, an international organisation established by the national parliaments of the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region.


Amb. Dr. Al Madani received his Ph.D. in Humanities at L.U.de.S – University of Lugano – Switzerland, as well as an Honorary Degree in Humanities at UCM United Campus of Malta, Doctor of Philosophy in Health Care Management and Masters in Hospital Management at Birmingham University.


Being actively committed to Corporate Social Responsibilities, has contributed with the utmost sincerity to charitable and humanitarian works; in recognition of his industry achievements, to name a few, Amb. Dr. Al Madani received the following awards;


  • Awarded the PAM Personality Award – Monaco for developing and reinforcing the humanitarian and development sectors during the past 10 years; and for the outstanding contribution to the humanitarian field.


  • Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the *L.U.de.S. – University of Lugano – Switzerland, for humanitarian initiatives, especially the anti-smoking campaigns and ongoing efforts.


  • Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation presented by the International Hospital Federation IHF in 2015 for his pioneer role in supporting Healthcare programs globally.


  • Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for successfully completing the Course for Senior Hospital & Health Service Manager (1998).
