Dr. Michel Benhamou, MD

Intensive care



Michel Benhamou is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in Intensive Care. He is a member of the Societe Francaise de Reanimation (French Society of Intensive Care) and has had a distinguished career at the Assistance Publique Hopitaux de Paris.

Dr. Benhamou served as a senior hospital doctor in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, holding positions at the Avicenne Hospital and the Jean Verdier Hospital until 1987. During this time, he was responsible for the Medico-surgical Intensive Care Unit.

From 1987 onwards, Dr. Benhamou transitioned to the private sector, initially working in Chatenay Malabry near Paris. From 2002 to 2021, he held a significant role as the head of the Medico-surgical Intensive Care Department at the Hopital Prive d'Antony, also located near Paris.

Notably, during the years 2020 and 2021, Dr. Benhamou's department played a crucial role as one of the primary centers for receiving and treating patients with severe cases of Covid-19.

Since 2021, Dr. Benhamou relocated to Israel and joined Eranim, where he continues to contribute his expertise in Intensive Care.
